In-Depth Trainings
Nondual Kabbalistic Healing® (NKH®) is the most comprehensive training we offer, encompassing four years of classes and a palette of 16 healings. The curriculum weaves the ancient wisdom of the Kabbalah, including the Tree of LIfe and the Four Universes, with Buddhist thought, intuitions of quantum physics, a Western psychological understanding of the human condition, and teachings of nonduality, into a deeply transformative healing modality.
NKH was developed by master Kabbalist and Zen Buddhist teacher Jason Shulman, whose life’s work has been to integrate theistic and non-theistic paths to wholeness and liberation. NKH teaching is carried out around the world by teachers authorized by A Society of Souls, a school for nondual healing and awakening founded by Jason Shulman.
Who is this for?
NKH is applicable to anyone wanting to alleviate suffering or wishing to explore nature of reality and/or their connection to life. You can study this work as a complete wisdom path regardless of religious or non-religious affiliation.
Past students of NKH have come from business, science, psychotherapy, social work, speech pathology, medicine, the law, journalism, the arts, mathematics, education, homemaking, parenting, healing and bodywork, among many other endeavors.
No prior knowledge of healing or any spiritual path is required to enroll in the training.
Why study NKH?
Become a more healing presence: This study will transform how you relate to yourself and others. We are naturally designed by life to be blessings to each other. This work nourishes that potential in all of us.
Deepen your work in another modality: Whether your work is some form of psychotherapy, coaching, or other therapeutic modality such as medicine, acupuncture, massage and bodywork, energy healing or movement therapy, this study will deepen, broaden and invigorate your skills.
Enliven your creative process: Whether you’re a writer, musician, photographer, painter, sculptor, artisan, designer, cook, or practitioner of any craft, NKH enlivens the creative process. While we may not all be artists, NKH helps us understand that the creative impulse resides within all of us, and that it manifests in many exhilarating forms.
Deepen your work, whatever your work: The study of NKH will enable you to participate more authentically in your life. It will allow you to approach your friendships, family, community life and professional life with a deeper sense of humanity and kindness.
Become a Nondual Kabbalistic healer: Offer NKH healing sessions professionally and find community among a global network of Nondual Kabbalistic Healers.
NKH is more than just a healing modality—it's a path to unfolding more of who you are and reclaiming your place in the web of existence.
NKH offers a paradigm for healing and awakening that invites you to bring all of who you are – intellect, emotions, cultural background, lived experience, expertise, interests, questions, doubts and imperfections. Instead of purifying or getting rid of our problematic parts, we heal them by learning how to be in profound and kind relationship with them. In this way dynamic change is given an abiding home in the totality of our being.
This transformation is at the heart of NKH training. While we will learn many techniques, our journey together will not be technique driven. Rather, our aim is to deepen our understanding of our true nature and to expand our capacity to hold new states of consciousness. This process enables us to help heal ourselves and become a more healing presence in the world.
The Curriculum:
The classes, while challenging, are filled with joy, laughter and kindness.
Year One prepares us in body, mind and spirit to be able to hold the states of consciousness that will be taught in the following years. To this end, we learn meditations and teachings that help deconstruct historical beliefs and patterns that no longer serve us and support new ones that will bring us into a larger view of ourselves and what healing truly is.
Year Two delves into the Kabbalistic understanding of the creation of the universe and the process of manifestation, exploring the Tree of Life (Etz Chayim) and its relevance to the here and now. We go deeper into the realm of Nondual Kabbalistic Healings, learning to embrace and heal the ego rather than seeking to eliminate it, recognizing the ego’s potential as a vessel for spiritual transformation. We begin to understand that all aspects of ourselves are a reflection of the sacred.
Year Three integrates the lessons of the first two years into a new paradigm of healing and awakening, one that teaches us to perceive our clients in all of their complexity, rather than reducing them to their symptoms in order to characterize them. We learn that when we are receptive to all forms of information and to what is now occurring in relationship, then the holographic nature of the universe is revealed, so that both client and healer are healed.
Year Four focuses on setting up the conditions for living and working from a unitive or nondual state of consciousness, facilitating a direct experience of the fundamental nature of human beings as the union of the personal and impersonal. This year marks a radical shift into direct experience of the impersonal by learning the practice of Impersonal Movement (IM). We then learn advanced healings that are seated at the interface between the personal and the transcendent. We reclaim our birthright as human beings whose true nature is compassionate action.
